Is cutting hair in different sizes a sin for men?

Simple answer - Yes.Is cutting hair in different sizes a sin for men?
ive gotten different answers about this question ..and i never got a proper answer


all i know is that in islam we are not suppose to distract ourselves with mere looks (even though we have to look clean and well-dressed........seems almost contradictory dont u think:P)


most of the guys nowadays wana put gel in their hair and spend i dont know 5-10mins doing their hair yet dont spend the same amount of time praying


plus during the time of the prophet , many of those who worshiped ';evil'; had fanatic haircuts....and so by copying their style u wud be promoting their beliefs





but from what i come to understand of it ..so long as ur not drawing symbolize, growing fanatic hairdos or copying a goth it sud be okIs cutting hair in different sizes a sin for men?
A slight correction: if a man Shaves his head he should shave it all. (the pharohs used to shave some and let some grow) It doesnt have to be cut completely evenly, what if a man has shoulder length hair, he should cut his bangs of of course so he can see. Of course also the haircut must Not be feminine looking....or be done to purposely draw attention....Allah knows best

if ur going to cut ur hair plz cut it even
i think it is ok that u cut it the way u want but not in a girly look , u have to look like a man not a woman ,Allah curse those man who wears or look like a woman and vice versa

cutting hair a sin !! may be in sunni or shia or wahabi but NOT in Islam,have you ever read it in Glorious Quran about this sin !
