What's the best hair trimmer for men to give themselves a buzz cut?

I'm looking for something on Amazon.com but I don't exactly what to get. Any suggestions? I want the best, price not being an issue.

If it helps, I'm looking for some kind of trimmer that can give me that ';Britney Spears post-meltdown'; look =)What's the best hair trimmer for men to give themselves a buzz cut?
I don't know what ';that Britney Spears post-meltdown look'; refers to, so I am not sure what buzz cut style you mean: brush cut, butch cut, crew cut, flat top crew cut, forward brush, ivy league(long crew cut.)

It doesn't sound as if you are speaking of simply pushing the guarded clippers to the scalp for a butch cut but rather cutting free hand or clipper over comb to to fashion a crew cut, flat top crew cut, forward brush or ivy league. Most barbers use an Andis Master to clipper sculpt these cuts. The taper lever adjusts between #000 length(0.5mm=1 day's hair growth) and #1length(2.4mm=3/32';=5day's hair growth) unless it is fitted with the ';fade'; blade, then the taper lever adjusts between #00000 length( 0.2mm = 10 hour's hair growth) and #000 length. Of course the Andis Master clippers can be fitted with clipper guards. It really depends to a certain extent on how a clipper feels in a guy's hand when cutting his own hair. Just pick up a few and see. If this is only for a butch cut, then a few manufacturers are now making special clippers that are angled just for this purpose. A good place to see the clippers and their features is on the clipper manufacturers web sites. Professional clippers like the Andis Master are usually in a different area of the site or on a different site, depending on manufacturer.

Good Luck!
